Fatma Durdu

Psychologist (BA(Psych), MPP)

I’m a registered psychologist with a warm, empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to therapy. My professional journey has taken me through various settings, from forensic to school environments, spanning both the private and government sectors. Throughout my experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages – adults, adolescents, and children – from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Central to my practice is the belief in tailoring treatment to suit each person’s unique needs. I’m deeply committed to a client-centred and collaborative approach. Above all, I prioritise creating a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore and thrive.

My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, complex trauma, substance use, ADHD, grief and loss, relationship issues, parenting, stress and life transitions, self-esteem, and more. In my practice, I draw from a range of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Mindfulness.

I’m bilingual and able to offer services in Turkish.
